Equated Monthly Installment (EMI) Formula:

EMI = [P × r × (1 + r)^n] / [(1 + r)^n - 1]

Where P = Principal, r = Monthly Interest Rate (Annual Rate / 12 / 100), n = Total Months.

Amortization schedules iteratively allocate monthly payments between principal reduction and accrued interest based on closing principal balances.

Investment engines execute exact compounding mathematics depending on contribution frequency:
